I have the exact same problem as Honza here... up to about a week ago, it was working fine, then it said no internet connection. I was using bld 30 then. so I updated to the latest version, bld 32, and it still says no internet connection.. and my firewall hasn't changed at all, so i'm pretty sure it's not that. and I also can't check for updates, a site in french comes up. no streams (Http or MMS) work at all. as this program is the only way I can listen to my favourite radio stations, I really need super's internet capability back. What is causing this problem????

I too am having an issue with 'No Internet Connection' error popping up when I want to copy something off the internet.
Running latest version of Super (v2008.build.32)
Running on Windows XP home edition, service pack 2
Running on small lan network (192.168*)
When selecting "Check for latest Update" I do NOT get the Super eRightSoft site, I get something foreign and an error.
Please help, it took me so long to finally find a program that did everything I needed. If this is not fixed I'll be forced to try and find something else.

I am using a PC under Vista SP1 and I got the same problem since one week ago.
I am working on a large LAN and I am using the Build 32 (july 8) version
When I try to check for update I am going to a french link of the provider free
http://super.free.free.fr/update/upsup832.html
what is wrong in SUPER or inside some DNS hosts???

Did I not give enough information to get some help from someone?
Is there some sort of setting that needs to be done by me to fix this? Is it a bug in the program? Please some help would be highly appreciated. Thank you.

Only the new release can fix this issue.
As the AutoUpdate is also not available, you may want to check manually as of
september 2008 for a new release.

I have the same problem, I get the message: "Was not able to detect a high speed
internet connection" if I want to start downloaden an video file from the web.
I are using windows xp home and super 0.32 and mine firewell allows Super(C).
When I click on Check For Latest SUPER © Update, the message I get is:
Erreur 403 - Refus de traitement de la requête (Interdit - Forbidden)
This error also will be decided in the next version?

I have the same problem but with the build nr. 30
I have XP Prof. (SP2), and my IP is: 172.1x.x.x.
What can I do?

Internet Access is disabled for all obsolete versions.
Internet Access can currently work ONLY with v2008.build.33
it is even clearly outlined in the error message displayed when you try to access.
Was not able to detect a high speed internet connection.
One of the following reasons may apply:
* Your PC may not be connected to the internet
* Your PC may be behind a proxy within an intranet or a small LAN
* A Network congestion could be delaying the send/receive packets
* Your firewall may be disabling the internet access to SUPER ©
* You may be still using an obsolete version of SUPER ©

IP range 172.16.0.0 through 172.31.0.0 is Class B reserved for personal use
IP range 169.254.0.0 through 169.254.255.255 is Class B reserved for personal use
IP range 10.0.0.0 through 10.255.255.255 is Class A reserved for personal use
IP range 192.168.0.0 through 192.168.255.255 is Class C reserved for personal use
meaning: you might be routed through a proxy from within a LAN
therefore, chances are very low to make SUPER(C) access your internet..
