I guess it's a real pain when someone sets up a forum and then along come those BOTS and spam every page they can with adverts and links.
I'd love to know how to stop them doing that. Not just for forums but anything else.
It's a shame really. There is always someone out there that will try to beat the system and have a little laugh under their breath.

So, any advice to us wanting to set up a forum, what software to use and how to
foil the BOTS.
