I noticed the uppercase conversion also. I've just been renaming them. This is related to another issue - it would be very nice to be able to specify the base file name in situations other than we are overwriting something.

Hi all.
To the creators of SUPER i need to say THANKS!, it's a very helpful tool.
Now, to the subject, if you use Linux the extension in uppercase will make a big difference.
Let me illustrate my situation:
I put a.mp3 from my desktop to an OLPC, wich uses Fedora 7 and has a somehow limited media player, and wont play that a.mp3
so i go back to the desktop and convert the "faulty" a.mp3 with SUPER.
Now i have a.mp3 and b.MP3 wich are the same file and doenst make a diference in Windows, BUT i want to put b.MP3 back in the linux PC,
the linux box will just copy it without overwriting the faulty a.mp3 file, because acording to the extension they are different files.
It would be nice to be able to choose lowercase extension in output files.
Please note that the OLPC hasnt a file manager, so everything has to be done trough console.
I have been using this great tool to easily rename files AF5, it suports changing extension's case.
Regards from Uruguay.
