Hi.
It's been a long time since I visited. Nice to see the long awaited update.
Great stuff.
Could you please advise on how to convert MPEG1 to DivX5 and what settings
to use.
I've used the search feature on the forum but can't find this topic.

Oops.... I found it... however......
Using AVI, DivX and ACC and Divx5/6 selection the resulting presets make the file to big, same or slightly bigger than original.
However, using VirtualDub with bitrate at no more than 368+, 25 fps and audio MP3 stereo 192 with Divx5 selected (Divx6.5.1 Codec 1 Logical CPU) the resulting file is around 3.5 times less in size than the original and has superb quality.
Using the above rates in SUPER, with a selection of DivX5/6, the resulting file is small but very blocky. It seems that the top end DivX 6.5.1 Codec is not being accessed to do the conversion. Is there any way we can point SUPER in it's direction??
All the best
Charles
