Can't edit videos converted by SUPER

I'm using SUPER 2008 bld 30 with default settings on a Windows 2000 machine AMD CPU with 1G RAM.  I use SUPER to convert video files no other program can convert, mainly Quicktime (.mov) and flash video (.flv).   They convert over fine with no erors, and they play fine in media players.  The only problem is when I go in to edit them afterwards, it causes whatever program I am using to crash.

I have tried converting them to every format possible using every codec supported.  It doesn't matter if they are DIVX, AVI, or MPEG-1, any video editor I use will crash when I try to load the file.  I have tried Blaze Media Pro, Ulead Video Studio, Cyberlink Power Director.  All of them work and can edit other videos, but not anything that has been converted by SUPER.  Are there some non-standard headers that are put into SUPER videos?  Codec mismatch?  Some junk data creeping in?  I have no idea.  Is there a video edit tool that is known to be compatible with SUPER?

Re: Can't edit videos converted by SUPER

to name a few
VirtualDub (use Avisynth and import any file format)
Adobe Premiere
TMPGEnc Xpress
Sony Vegas

the rendered files are playbale on WindowsMediaPlayer, QuickTime, VLC, MPC, MPlayer etc..
not to mention Zune, iPod, iPhone, PSP, cell phones and a whole bunch of other players.
they do not have any non standard header otherwise they won't even open.

most of the editors you mentioned are using DirectShow, crashing simply means
ActiveX filters conflict on your PC, seems you have installed any and every codec on earth on your PC.
