converting to flv using H.264 as codex

I have a bunch of files (mostly .avi) and I need to convert them to .flv format. The problem I run into is that when I select ".swf or .flv" from the output format list it describes the codec as "Flash Video". I was wondering what exactly is meant by "Flash Video". Is that using H.264, H.263, VP6 or something else? I need to have it use the H.264 codec because that is what our streaming video server supports. (sorry btw for the spelling mistake in the title smiley-blush lol)

Re: converting to flv using H.264 as codex

So then I would assume that there is no way for it to use AVC/H.264 instead?

What exactly do you mean by "modified"?
