Hi
When i read a video converted in AVI Dvix thanks to Super(c), MS mediaplayer request an internet connection.
I have nit yet register my download due to the lack of an personal internet connection for the time being.
Could you please confirm i this internet conection is linked to this non-registration, or if the internet connection request come from a codec update need?
best regards,

To our knowledge, WMP requests internet connection either for codec update
or for certificate validation of downloaded/purchased multimedia clips.
For a confirmed answer, check with MicroSoft.

What you did was to create a video file with Super that when played back, Windows Media Player does not have the proper codec to play to it back. So, Windows Media Player tries to connect to the internet to download the codec.
Solutions:
1. Create videos with Super that you have the necessary codecs for.
or
2. Download and install the necessary codecs. The K-Lite codec package is a good one and will have most of the playback codecs you need.
K-Lite codec packages can be found at: http://www.free-codecs.com/download/K_L … c_Pack.htm
