Super - CPU not exceed 1.8 GHz

Hi All

My laptop is running on AMD duo-core 1.9GHz, 2G RAM
however, when I convert files using Super..
it said there is error with the CPU of not having more than 1800MHz?

anyone knows how to solve this issue?

My guess is, since it is a laptop, it throttles the CPU to different levels of speed to conserve battery depending on how it is being used. Try disabling that feature or turn off power management and test it if it works.

i had the same problem .. Super C used to work with the same lap top but since i installed the new version of 2008 i can convert any file neither flv nor avi or wmv

what is the problem?
i tried to check the power settings but there's no difference
