I'm converting avi files to dvd and they work pretty well, but the edges are cut off on a standard tv. This wouldn't be that big a deal but there are captions and you can't read some of them like this. If there is a guide for this I haven't been able to find it.  I'm not sure how to do this but I think I need to add a black border around the video. Any help would be greatly appreciated and if you need more if just let me know.

The files are different sizes but are all 4:3 aspect and the quality and audio work great, just can't figure out this last part. If possible I'd like to use the small vob profile, but its not a must.
