I just bought Half-Life 2 and installed it on my PC.

The installation went by fine and when I click on "Play Half-Life 2" from the autorun menu, this message pops up:

"ERROR: steam.exe (main exception. Cannot load library from steam.dll"

I've tried un-installing the steam portion and re-installing it but I get the same problem.

Can anybody help me out? I'd appreciate it.
