program requirements problem

Maybe my problem is a requirements issue, and maybe it isn't. I am trying to convert several .flv files (one at a time until I figure this issue out) and I keep getting an error.

The .flv files are from youtube and the "capturing" software is a firefox extension called  download helper.

I can add a file in Super and when I click on render I get the error. The only thing I can figure out is that the Super software shows that my processor speed is too slow. Super shows that I have a 995mhz processor, but I have an AMD 3200+ processor running at 1.79 ghz.

The rest of my system components check out ok.
39GB HDD space
2 GB RAM
Windows XP home sp2

I hope I can get this resolved because I am trying to burn a "How its Made" DVD for my wife's students to watch, and you tube is the only place I can find the videos.

Thanks For the Help

Re: program requirements problem

your settings are correct and your CPU speed doesn't really matter when
it comes to a 5 min FLV file.
my guess your file is damaged or have corrupted frames.
SUPER(C) would encode any flv youtube file, no exception.
are you abe to play this file with SUPER(C)

Re: program requirements problem

The files will open with Super (c), but the colors are all washed out.

The files play fine in the windows media player basic (old style).

Thanks for your help.
