Software problem

Ok I will do my best not to make this a useless question and/or problem.

The problem that I am having is:
I currently this version of super V 2006.build.17 and when I installed it, it takes me to a window with a download link to upgrade to the most current version 2006.19. So I downloaded, installed, and now I am unable to covert anything whereas with the previous version I was able to convert.  When I uninstall to revert back to the previous version (the one that I know will convert), the program itself fails to open when executed. The window for the previous version pops up briefly and then it disappears.  This leads me to conclude that when uninstalling SUPER, it fails to uninstall all of the files that it installed on my computer. It seems to uninstall all the files form the super directory located in program files portion of the windows directories but there seems to be another directory located elsewhere on my computer where files were installed and are failing to remove them upon uninstalling. This leads me to assume that after uninstalling the current version of the program and installing the previous version of the program that instead of installing the older version of some files it uses the files of the current version that is still on my computer thus leading to the previous version to close prematurely.

I tried installing this on several different computers so it is not a computer specific problem. One of the computers I used the most current version on and when I installed it, and once again it did not work. So I did a system restore under windows which took me back to my previous state (before having installed it). Then I installed the previous version and it worked fine.

My conclusion is that there is some glitch with the current version with not allowing me to convert like I am with the prevous version. Do you have any ideas thoughts, or other enlightening words or wisdom on this matter?

Thanks

Please read the First Sticky post. We can guide you to encode with no errors, if you give FULL details about the encoding problem.

We locked/disabled all the old/obsolete versions from running.
