Open question about Sync problem

Hey quick question, new to encoding trying to learn quickly.
If i downloaded a video file (movie..divx) and the audio is out of sync with the video, is there any way to fix that with super (or anything else for that matter) or are u stuck with someone else mistakes? Any help/info/advice greatly appreciated.

Re: Open question about Sync problem

this is http://files.divx-digest.com/nicky/avinfo_1.2a.zip the simpliest and easiest
repair software (Not Written by eRightSoft) to repair out-of-synch AVIs (only AVIs)
note that it can ONLY repair those AVIs that play on WindowsMediaPlayer in other words
it fully depends on your DirectShow installed filters.

Otherwise, you need to repair your files with Adobe Premiere, you need more
advanced skills, more time but "might" get better results

once you install this small software, you need to rightclick your AVI file and select
AVI Information-Synchro to start the process
